Pining for Ewe - Kit

January 2023 - We are able to put just a few kits into stock at this time.  Please note that we have had to substitute a slightly lighter colored tan for the block beneath the phrase, as well as replacing the pillow backing wool.  We will upload a new image of the kit as soon as they are cut and photographed. Image currently showing is the original kit, not the updated version.

Kit includes pattern and instructions, felted wool fabrics, appliqué threads (exclusively Weeks Dye Works' flosses and pearl cottons), freezer paper and Quilter's Dream Dream Wool batting.

Design features a slightly stuffed, dimensional sheep with raw-edged ears, reposing among embroidered daisies, an embroidered phrase and embroidered and appliqued pine tree - all inspired from an 1820's yarn sewn rug!  Pattern includes specific instructions and drawings for the specialty embroidery stitching, and details on how to use tissue paper to stitch through for the wording and tree limbs.
