"Lighting the Way" - Finished size ornaments: 2" x 3" (candles) and 2 1/2" x 3 3/4" (evergreens).   PATTERN ONLY.

Our original design for an Advent display featuring appliqued ornaments with hand-dipped candles in antique candle stands in the Advent colors plus embroidered evergreen ornaments with the words of Advent - Hope, Peace, Joy and Love, representing the encircling wreath of greens around the Advent candle display we see in churches at Christmastime! 

A creative option is to make ALL the candles in white wool... just like the ones we see in windows of homes "lighting the way" back home to warmth and love!

Made from felted wool fabrics and stitched exclusively with Weeks Dye Works threads (#12 pearl cottons and floss), plus a few special threads like DMC metallic for the embroidered words, Rainbow Gallery narrow ribbon (bows on candle stands) and their petite silk lame for the flame. 

Complete instructions for stitching the entire project, including two options for transferring the embroidery design for the evergreens and words using Press n Seal or tissue paper.  Pattern includes a full size, to scale layout drawing and separately drawn pattern pieces. 

Make an heirloom to celebrate the season and for generations to come to anticipate Christmas every year!

Hang these from a tree or garland, display them amongst evergreens and candles on a table or use them as gift tags!
