Our original design for a perfectly sweet eagle clasping a dimensional ribbon backed by a red heart!  A nice sized piece for making as a gift, a name tag, as an ornament for a patriotic wreath or nestled in a bowl filled with flags, stars and all sorts of Americana fare.  Traditional wool applique techniques used for portions of this project, and simple but effective dimensional techniques for those amazing wing feathers!

Pattern includes full-scale pattern pieces and a drawn layout, drawings of all embroidery stitches used in this design (and more!), complete step by step instructions, supplies list with sizes and colors of wool pieces used in original design, a list of Valdani cotton and wool threads (can be used interchangeably) used in original design and a list of miscellaneous supplies.

Made from felted wool fabrics (hand-dyed and off the bolt) and stitched exclusively with Valdani threads.
