Our original design for Chester, the Chickadee, perched in the changing aspen trees!  Our feathered friend is known for his distinctive voice and markings and makes a charming autumn decoration.  Pattern is NEWLY UPDATED and includes directions for making Chester's wing dimensional!

Pattern includes full-scale pattern pieces and a drawn layout, drawings of all embroidery stitches used in this design (and more!), complete step by step instructions, supplies list with sizes and colors of wool pieces used in original design, a list of The Caron Collection cotton "Wildflower" thread, Weeks Dye Works' and Gentle Art's hand dyed threads used in original design and a list of miscellaneous supplies.

Chickadee and aspen appliques made from felted wool fabrics and stitched onto Prairie cloth fabric.  Finishing options include making the background from felted wool or quilting cotton, as well as how to stitch the little pillow without fringe.
