Product Description

"Beauty in the Buttery" - Finished dimensions: 16 1/4" x 17 1/2" Our original design for an ovoid shaped salt-glazed crock, decorated with blue "slip" designs, inspired by antique crocks!

Made from felted wool fabrics and lovely hand-dyed wools, and stitched exclusively with Valdani threads (#12 pearl cottons).  This wall hanging is finished with a cotton backing, bias cut cotton binding and a little bit of cotton batting in between!

Complete instructions for stitching the entire project, include two options for transferring the embroidery design plus a NEW trick for working with Glad Press n Seal!  Pattern includes a full size, to scale layout drawing and separately drawn pattern pieces, stitching diagrams and tips, complete "necessities" list and general instructions for working with wool.

    This pattern is beautiful, and bigger than it looks. I can’t wait to finish it. The design is just so authentic to the crock ware era. I just love it. Kathy is a wonderful designer with such creative ideas. So glad I ordered it, and I see that there are more patterns with crocks that I will be ordering.
