Finished size 12" - 12"; A fabulous wool applique project to learn different techniques for dimension.  "Fluffy's" fur is created with individual layers of wool, edge-stitched with mohair threads; her eyes are reverse appliqued, and her ears are needle-felted with roving fibers to create their inside furriness!  All the edges of her fur are detached from the background as well as her ears which are attached only at the top of her head.  To re-create YOUR cat, change up the colors and alter her facial stripes and you'll have a portrait of your beloved furry friend!  Pattern includes complete full scale pattern layout showing overlapping and underlapping layers; individually drawn pattern pieces; 12 pages of detailed, step by step instructions; and over 40 color photos of how to stitch this entire design.  Art piece can be finished framed into a shadow box frame or stitched into a pillow.
